Bruce Bawer
Bruce Bawer is the author of nine books, including the critically acclaimed A Place at the Table. He is also a co-author of House & Home (with former Rep. Steve Gunderson) and the editor of the gay anthology, Beyond Queer. A former director of the National Book Critics Circle, Bawer reviews books frequently for the New York Times Book Review. He has written for The Washington Post Book World and The Advocate. He now lives in Europe, and speaks frequently to a wide audience.
